Rethinking Video Email Attachments

Looking through last month’s email, I saw a disturbing trend. I’m getting too many emails with the same video attachment. It was like everyone participated in a chain letter that said if you don’t forward this funny video to twelve friends, we’ll cut your bandwidth. Last week, I had 200 + MBs of unsolicited video attachments in email. Rather than annoying friends or their coworkers, we’ve got another way to handle these items. The time it takes for this method is half the time it would take for a 56k dial up user to get a 4MB email attachment. You do know how long that is, right?

Wrapping Text in Microsoft Word

An item that seems to continually perplex Microsoft Word users is how to get text to flow around pictures. I’ll admit it took me a bit before I understood how to use this feature. There were two easy changes I did which made wrapping text easier. (Includes flash tutorial.)
